For a month-long passion project, I committed to creating 30 unique illustrations of dogs from animal shelters, each available for adoption. The goal was to raise awareness and help these dogs find loving homes. Despite the challenges of balancing time and creative energy, the experience was both rewarding and eye-opening. I designed and featured each illustration on T-shirts and tote bags, sharing them on Instagram alongside the dogs' adoption links. Through this project, I honed my time management skills and embraced the process of trial and error, learning that mistakes and adaptability are an essential part of the design process. Speaking with shelter staff and interacting with online communities showed me the value of human connection and support as a part of design. Ultimately, this project combined my passion for art and advocacy, reminding me of the power of design to make a difference.
